Growing up when I would have a sore throat my mom would always make me this and it would make me feel extremely better. It warms you and soothes your sore throat all at the same time, nothing better then that. It’s a super easy recipe with only 3 ingredients that you are bound to have at home already. Hope you feel better!
This creamsicle consists of 3 ingredients, well 4 if you want to count ice How easy does that sound?! This drink is great to cool down on a hot day with or you could offer this at brunch for those choosing to not have mimosas. It’s a great drink for all ages.
Working in a coffee stand for over 12 years taught me to make lots of different types of drinks, some difficult and some super easy. This is one of the super easy drinks that gives classic orange juice a fun and interesting twist. My best friend this was always her go to drink there, if she wasn’t choosing a rocky road milkshake that is I make this drink for my family when we feel like a little something fun. Enjoy!
What is more festive then a red, white and blue layered drink? Nothing so this is a must for any patriotic holiday that you want to show your red, white & blue. Plus the kids will LOVE them. My daughter was so excited by this drink that she actually drank 2! Which is a lot for her since she is only 2, but who am I to deny a little ones request for a fun festive drink and hey I had a few myself. Being pregnant doesn’t mean that I can’t enjoy a fun drink at a party
You could do this drink for any occasion just make sure that the drink with the highest sugar content goes on the bottom so they don’t mix. I can’t wait to try this for another holiday soon, Enjoy!
I am not from the south and I have never been there, but I hear people talk about southern sweet tea and how delicious it is and have always wanted to try some. I love tea hot and cold so I am not picky when it comes to tea, it’s just got to taste good so I searched for a recipe to try and then tweaked a little. It turned out great and I will be making this all summer long.
I would love to hear what recipe you make for iced teas!
I had a cold the other day, that lasted for two weeks I seriously thought it was never going to leave. I was miserable and I couldn’t take any cold medicine and then my mom told me what her mom came over and made me what her mom would always make her when she was growing up. It hit the spot, soothed my sore throat and got more fluids in me, plus it was the middle of January and a hot drink is always nice on a cold day.
I do not claim to be a doctor but this natural remedy is perfect to soothe a sore throat. and I really hope it helps you if you are feeling under the weather.
This drink reminds of being a kid and coming in from playing in the snow and getting to warm up with a big mug of hot chocolate. What kid doesn’t love hot cocoa with mini marshmallows floating on top? Let me re-word that, what adult doesn’t love hot cocoa with mini marshmallows? This is not the recipe I’d make everyday because it is definitely on the sweet side, but it’s best piping hot on a cold and blistery day.
This hot chocolate would be great for a winter party, Christmas morning or decorating the tree. I made this recipe most recently for my daughters 2nd birthday party and the kids loved it. This decadent hot chocolate is the perfect recipe for your family this winter. Enjoy!
Here is another smoothie recipe brought to you thanks to my daughter. We just back from Montana and it was a blistering 90 degrees everyday. With extreme heat I crave fruit smoothies and I’ve passed that on to my daughter. She wanted one the whole weekend but It’s a little difficult when you are camping in the middle of a field with a rented motor home…but hey that’s the beauty of being at home, all the amenities you grow a custom to, like smoothies when ever you want. I hope you enjoy this triple berry smoothie with a citrus twist, Enjoy!

Summer time is the perfect time to enjoy different flavors of smoothies. As I am packing for Montana my daughter is asking for a smoothie and since I need to use up all of the fruit in my kitchen before we leave I thought let try something new. This turned out to be an incredible addition to our day so I’m glad she asked for it. She loved this smoothie because it was the perfect mixture of sweet and fruity, and who doesn’t love a smoothie packed with fruit. I would love to know what your favorite fruit smoothies are because I’m always wanting to try new concoctions. Enjoy!

This lemonade recipe is full of flavor and so fruity. Everyone has tried strawberry lemonade but with the addition of rhubarb it is a refreshing new taste. I love lemonade and every summer my dad gives me tons of rhubarb so I was excited to try this lemonade recipe I found on Pinterest. I changed the recipe a bit to my liking, so I hope that you enjoy my adaptations.
Even if you don’t have any sunny days in your immediate forecast make this lemonade anyway because it tastes like summer and will make you feel like you are lounging outside soaking up some rays.
